Quinton Knott started his professional career as an Area Director for Young Life in Lexington, VA. After spending 6 years in the nonprofit world, he decided to make the switch to accounting. He earned his degree in economics and religious studies at UVA and took online classes in accounting at Liberty University. He’s completed all of his accounting classes, passed the exam and just needs his hours now.

When asked why he made the switch to this field he said, “I always knew accounting would be a good fit. I like problem solving and thinking analytically. Especially after 6 years in nonprofits.”

Interestingly, Ashley, his wife of 5 years, is also a CPA. Together, they have Carter, who will turn 2 in June. In his spare time, Quinton follows UVA athletics, and he likes to run and play pick-up soccer.
