Hantzmon Wiebel LLP Appoints Jennifer Lehman as CEO
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, NOVEMBER 15, 2017 – Hantzmon Wiebel LLP is pleased to announce that Jennifer S. Lehman, CPA, CGMA has been appointed Chief Executive Officer effective October 1, 2017. Ms. Lehman previously served as Chief Operating Officer. She is the first female CEO of Hantzmon Wiebel and is among just 14 female CEOs/managing partners of the Top 300 accounting firms in the United States.
She will follow Phillip W. Shiflett, CPA, who has served as CEO since 2007. Mr. Shiflett, having completed a ten-year term, will continue to work with the Firm’s clients on a full time basis going forward. “I am thrilled to be able to devote my full attention to providing value to the Firm’s clients that we serve and continuing to assist in developing positive relationships. We have been working together on this transition for some time now and I know that Jennifer will be a great CEO and leader for us going forward. I see her guiding the firm through its 100 yr. anniversary and beyond. She has the vision and abilities to continuously improve our organization and promote our shared values.”

About Jennifer S. Lehman, CPA, CGMA
Jennifer Lehman joined Hantzmon Wiebel in 1997. She has served as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer since 2007, overseeing operations, personnel, marketing, and technology with a special focus on creating a first-class environment for the staff. She is a co-partner-in-charge of employee benefit plan audits, and also works with high net worth individuals and a variety of clients. Ms. Lehman was named a “Super CPA” by Virginia Business from 2004 – 2013. She is a 2002 Leadership Charlottesville Alum, a Grants Committee Member of Women United in Philanthropy, and a volunteer for Regents School of Charlottesville.
